| Summary |
"In the design of any piece of equipment, before any work whatsoever is done, a reason for developing the object must be apparent to all concerned. Any expenditure of time, labor and money must be properly justified before action can be taken. In the case of this paper, then, the reason for designing a broadcast radio station for the Missouri School of Mines & Metallurgy at Rolla, Missouri is twofold: First, to provide an additional instrument whereby instruction may be given to students interested in the study of radio; second, to supply the residents of Rolla and vicinity with entertainment and instruction in keeping with the high ideals of the School"--Introduction, leaf 1. |
