Summary "The elution of beta-galactosidase (BG) from the betagalactosidase- anti-beta-galactosidase monoclonal antibody (BG-ABGMA) complex has been studied in various conditions. The elution of BG from the BG-ABGMA complex was successfully carried out by introducing a polarity reducing agent at relatively mild pH conditions. In addition to the successful elution, these experiments also validated the previously developed experimental technique of measuring the amount of BG that was adsorbed by the antibody. This amount was the difference between an irnmunosorbent adsorption curve and a control adsorption curve"--Abstract, leaf ii.
