| Summary |
"In wireless sensor networks (WSNs), typically several hundred nodes with energy, bandwidth and hardware constraints form a network. With node mobility, the network topology can change significantly making data transfer a major issue. Novel energy efficient protocols are therefore necessary for self-organization and routing of data in the presence of limited resources, node mobility and intermittent connectivity. In this thesis, novel self-organization using sub-networks (SOS) and optimized energy-delay sub-network routing (OEDSR) protocols for WSNs are presented"--Abstract, leaf iv. |
