| Summary |
"This study analyzes the relationship between flexural and compressive strength in normal strength concrete, and how these strengths are affected by mixture variables. There is relatively little information on how the relationship between concrete flexural and compressive strength changes if the constituent materials change. This study looks at the gains or losses in the two strengths and compares them to one another. The purpose is to determine whether certain variables have a more adverse affect on flexural strength as opposed to compressive strength"--Abstract, leaf iii. |
